The Aeroweave Air Elastic Blazer, winner of the 2025 Taiwan Excellence Award, combines lightweight, breathable, and flexible functionality with water-resistant properties. Its stylish design makes it ideal for both formal business settings and casual events. Moreover, the Aeroweave Blazer features six major eco-friendly highlights, showcasing outstanding sustainable fashion.
Since founding in 1989, SINGTEX has been developing and producing energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and functional textiles, earning a high reputation for quality and reliability. In 2022, Singtex invested NT$2.3 billion to build a high-precision dyeing and finishing factory, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to sustainability. The Aeroweave Air Elastic Blazer is crafted from recycled PET bottles and the fabric produced at Singtex's bluesign®-certified facility, meeting the highest global environmental standards in Switzerland.
The Aeroweave Air Elastic Blazer is crafted from 100% polyester, making it a single-material garment, which significantly enhances the feasibility of textile recycling. Through the ' REFIT™ Sustainable Recycling Project,' Singtex promotes the concept of recycling as gathering resources, not waste. REFIT™ aims to inspire consumers to embrace eco-friendly principles from the start of product design, allowing them to wear their commitment to protecting the planet.
To achieve elasticity in clothing, spandex is often blended with cotton or polyester, typically in low proportions. However, fabrics containing blended spandex are not suitable for recycling, are challenging to dye, and are relatively energy-intensive to produce. The Aeroweave Air Elastic Blazer fabric uses treated bicomponent fibers to create a spring-like structure, providing comfortable elasticity while reducing the use of spandex. Compared to materials containing 10% polyurethane elastic fibers, this fabric reduces carbon emissions by over 60% per unit weight. Additionally, it offers superior colorfastness and skin-friendliness compared to spandex.
Singtex has always placed great emphasis on every aspect of factory manufacturing. Aeroweave fabric is woven in Singtex's factory, which has obtained the globally renowned and stringent bluesign® certification. Our processes and products comply with the principles of environmental protection, health, and safety (Environment, Health, Safety; EHS).
The Aeroweave Air Elastic Blazer is breathable and comfortable, allowing wearers to stay cool even on hot summer days, indirectly promoting energy savings and carbon reduction. The choice of materials enhances the garment’s recyclability at the end of its life cycle. Singtex educates suppliers, brands, and consumers to choose single-material products, encouraging sustainability and resource reuse from the start and reducing environmental impact.
Since 2020, SINGTEX has implemented a 'Zero Fee Policy' to create a fair and ethical working environment for migrant workers, preventing forced labor and fostering harmonious labor relations. Under this policy, migrant workers are not required to pay any fees beyond what is legally required in either the host or home country, including monthly service fees imposed by third-party labor agencies. All relevant costs are fully covered by the company.
Through the Aeroweave Air Elastic Blazer's six key eco-friendly advantages, SINGTEX demonstrates its commitment to product sustainability—a dedication that earned the prestigious 2025 Taiwan Excellence Award. Singtex is honored by this recognition, as the Aeroweave Air Elastic Blazer not only represents our design and manufacturing capabilities but also embodies our spirit of persistence and innovation in sustainable development.
