From Reflective Paddies to Golden Fields
Rice has always been one of Taiwan’s most essential crops, not only providing sustenance but also replenishing groundwater and preventing land subsidence. In Lanyang Plain, the vast paddy fields mirror the sky in March, with verdant seedlings bringing life to the serene landscape. By August, the fields turn golden with ripened grains, as farmers harvest the fruits of their labor. The golden grains then travel far and wide, becoming an integral part of Taiwan’s culinary and cultural .

More than a Decade in the Fields: Cultivating with Care
For over ten years, SINGTEX has actively participated in this journey. Every March, employees and their families visit the rice fields of Mr. Fang , a recipient of the National Top 10 Farmers Award, to plant rice seedlings under his guidance. The younger generation learned to bend their backs and plant each seedling by hand, experiencing firsthand the balance between nature and sustainability while deepening bonds among colleagues.
