ISPO Textrends AWARDS 28SS

ISPO Textrends closely monitors and presents future material trends, regularly publishing trend reports to provide guidance for designers and brands. In this edition’s selection, “Circular Economy” and “Structural Clarity” became the key focal points for the judges, showcasing a shift in fabrics from mere functionality to responsible value.

At the 2028 SS ISPO Textrends—often hailed as the Oscars of the textile industry—SINGTEX perfectly echoed trends such as material simplification, low environmental impact, and recyclability, successfully integrating waste resources with high-performance functionality.

【 TOP 5 】 STORMFLEECE® PRO / SW-80892C0 

Featuring SINGTEX’s patented “single-layer woven structure,” this fabric integrates fleece-like comfort with all-weather protection. By eliminating lamination and adhesives, it simplifies the softshell manufacturing process, reduces material complexity, and minimizes microfiber shedding. Utilizing pre-consumer recycled yarn from greige waste, its tightly woven structure forms a breathable barrier, replacing traditional multi-layer fabrics with a more streamlined construction. 

Base Layer

1.SELECTION】 SINGTEX™ STRETCH PLUS / SCK-4711

A circular stretch fabric featuring a “mono-material structure” that combines 25% Celanese TPEE with 75% recycled polyester. It successfully replaces traditional elastane—which is notoriously difficult to separate and recycle—enabling 100% closed-loop “textile-to-textile” recycling. Compared to elastane, TPEE offers lower moisture regain for faster evaporation. Its open-hole structure significantly enhances airflow while maintaining excellent sun protection. 

2.SELECTIONS.Café® ICE-CAFÉ™ /  SCK-4708SC

A summer cooling fabric made from S.Café® recycled coffee yarn. By combining recycled polyester with coffee grounds integrated into the yarn, it gives waste a second life. ICE-CAFÉ™ delivers a cool-touch sensation without chemical cooling agents. Its natural odor control and quick-drying properties eliminate chemical post-treatments, creating a low-impact, multi-functional textile. 

Membranes & Coatings

1.SELECTION RePUra™ / S3W-2456C0

Using advanced “textile-to-textile (T2T)” depolymerization, this solution chemically recycles polyester, polyurethane (PU), and elastane within a single system, transforming pre-consumer textile waste into high-performance membranes. It solves the challenge of recycling complex composite material structures for waterproof, breathable gear. While driving circular systems, RePUra™ reduces reliance on virgin petroleum, providing a scalable solution for next-generation functional textiles.

2.SELECTIONSINGTEX™  PROTECTOR ULTRA  / A1110-26030004

Weighing just 48g/m², this ultra-lightweight 3-layer design combines a 6D nylon face fabric, an ultra-fine 7D lining, and an ultra-lightweight PU membrane. It reduces membrane weight by 50% compared to traditional PU membranes, delivering ultimate waterproof and breathable performance with a dry, lightweight comfort. It also features a C0 DWR treatment to balance durability and functionality, making it ideal for high-performance outdoor exploration.
