As a long-term supporter of road running, SINGTEX was honored this year to co-host the 2025 Taiwan Sustainable Road Running Forum. Entering its fifth year, the forum was held in eastern Taiwan for the first time, starting in Hualien. From the perspectives of low-carbon events and sustainable transformation, more than ten cross-disciplinary experts convened to explore how Taiwan’s 500+ annual running events can advance toward environmental and social co-benefits.
From Forum to Coastline, SINGTEX Writes a Green Chapter Through Action
The forum centered on five key themes—SROI (Social Return on Investment), sports tourism, event sustainability, circular economy, and net-zero design—covering event planning, industry value chains, and social impact. SINGTEX was invited as a panelist to share how circular economy principles can be implemented within the sports industry, and how initiatives such as REFIT™ connect everyday life with environmental action. On that day, we were not only participants, but catalysts for action.
From Dialogue to Action: Running Toward a New Clean Horizon
The following day, the Sustainable Coastal Cleanup – Qixingtan Station took place under the slogan “Sustainability Never Stops—Run Toward a Cleaner Horizon.” Integrating road running sustainability, sports tourism, and social impact, the initiative translated knowledge into action.
SINGTEX supported the event through sponsorship and by providing eco-friendly arm sleeves made from S.Café® recycled coffee grounds, transforming recycled material concepts into tangible daily products.
Participants verbally reported collected waste items, which volunteers logged into the ICC International Coastal Cleanup Database, enabling quantifiable, recorded citizen-science participation. Against the bright sun and shimmering waves of Qixingtan, the passion of runners and partners—from Ji’an Running Club and beyond—demonstrated the compelling force of sustainability in motion.

Passion Extends the Belief in Sustainability
For me personally, the impact of this event went beyond formal participation. Being present at the forum, hearing diverse voices on sustainable running, and seeing familiar yet newly connected faces gather around a shared belief was deeply moving.
When sustainability shifts from corporate rhetoric to collective action across landscapes, its momentum quietly takes shape.
From forum dialogue to coastal action, from concept to practice, SINGTEX once again connects corporate responsibility with social engagement through the lens of sports × sustainability.
On this journey, we run alongside everyone who cares for the environment—moving forward together.
Sustainability never stops. Run toward a new horizon!
