The 5th REFIT™ Christmas Clothing Exchange has successfully concluded, continuing a well-received internal sustainability initiative at SINGTEX.
During the festive season, colleagues were invited to share gently used garments, allowing well-maintained clothing to find new owners and become meaningful Christmas gifts. As the event continues to evolve, it reflects Singtex’s commitment to fostering a culture of resource reuse and everyday sustainability.
Sustainability Rooted in Daily Life
Launched in 2022, the REFIT™ Textile Circularity Program promotes the principle of “reuse before recycling” through practical initiatives such as internal clothing and book exchanges.
A Culture Shaped by Accumulated Warmth
This year, colleagues from nine departments participated, with 198 garments collected and 131 items successfully exchanged. Unclaimed items were carefully sorted and donated to social welfare organizations, extending the lifecycle of each garment and creating broader social impact.
Over time, the secondhand clothing exchange has become a much-anticipated annual tradition among SINGTEX colleagues. During a season of gratitude and sharing, we extend the life of garments while allowing kindness to circulate through everyday actions—gradually shaping a corporate culture grounded in warmth and care.
